2026 Rental Assistance Availability

Eviction Diversion Program

The Eviction Diversion Program (EDP) is a collaboration between Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, Clark County, and the Las Vegas-area Justice Courts (Las Vegas, Henderson, and North Las Vegas). Beginning February 2, 2026, EDP provides rental assistance to seniors age 62 or older and individuals receiving SSI due to a disability who are facing eviction for non-payment of rent and who file a tenant answer to an eviction notice within the required timeframe.

Tenants who meet the above criteria are automatically diverted into EDP and will be contacted for an appointment with Clark County Social Services to determine if rental assistance is available.

Free legal representation provided by Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada is also available to tenants in this program. Tenants do not need to sign up, but will be automatically enrolled if eligibility requirements are met. Tenants must keep their appointment with Clark County Social Services.

Other rental assistance organizations are listed below. Please note that Legal Aid Center is not affiliated with these organizations and cannot guarantee funding or resources.
