Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada offers free Ask-A-Lawyer consultations via telephone. In-person sessions are temporarily suspended due to federal and state recommendations surrounding COVID-19.
The following is a list of currently available telephonic Ask-A-Lawyer sessions, dates, and times, with links to sign up. Check back frequently as more programs may be added.
Family Law Ask-A-Lawyer
When: Every Thursday, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Tenant Rights Ask-A-Lawyer
When: Every Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. & 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Small Claims Ask-A-Lawyer
When: Every 1st & 3rd Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. & 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
When: Every 2nd Tuesday, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Debt Collection Ask-A-Lawyer
When: Every 4th Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Child Support Ask-A-Lawyer
This program is offered by the District Attorney Family Support Division. It is for anyone with questions about seeking, collecting, or paying child support.
Attorneys are available for free 15-minute telephone consultations on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. You may sign up for an appointment by calling (702) 455-1505. An attorney will call back between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on the date you select.
