Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada and UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law have created a partnership program to help provide legal information to our community.
As of March 23, 2020, most classes will be offered online to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 and to comply with state directives and CDC guidelines concerning public gatherings. All Spanish language classes are temporarily suspended. Please click on this link to access log on information for available classes. https://law.unlv.edu/free-legal-education.
Boyd law students present informational classes about Small Claims, Bankruptcy, Guardianship, Paternity/Custody, Family Law matters, Immigration, and Criminal Record Sealing and Civil Rights Restoration and help self-represented litigants understand how to present their case and represent themselves in court. Litigation and Trial Preparation, Payday Loans and Title Loans, and Collection Proof classes are also taught at Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada. Family Law, Bankruptcy, and Immigration classes are available in Spanish.
If you need special accommodations to attend one of these classes, please call us at 386-1070 at least 48 hours in advance.
