Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada and the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV have created a partnership program to help provide legal information to our community.
Boyd Law students present informational classes about Small Claims, Bankruptcy, Guardianship, Divorce, Paternity/Custody, Immigration, and Criminal Record Sealing. They help self-represented litigants understand how to present their cases and represent themselves in court. Litigation & Trial Preparation, Tenants' Rights, and Collection Proof classes are also taught at Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada. Family Law, Bankruptcy, and Immigration classes are available in Spanish. Additionally, we offer Eviction Sealing and Spanish Family Law Forms clinics.
All events are offered in-person at either Legal Aid Center or the Boyd School of Law and online through either Zoom or RingCentral. For many of the classes, both in-person and online options are available. If you need special accommodations to attend one of these classes, please call us at 702-386-1070 at least 48 hours in advance.
