Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada's Pro Bono Project offers a variety of Ask-A-Lawyer programs for unrepresented individuals to receive free 15-minute consulations with volunteer attorneys. There are no income restricitions to participate in an Ask-A-Lawyer program. For additional details, please view the program flyers below.
Family Law Ask-A-Lawyer
This program is for pro se litigants who have specific questions about their family law case. If you have already registered for the Family Law Ask-A-Lawyer program and have a number and time for your appointment, you may download the intake form and take it with you to the program.
This program is for unrepresented tenants seeking legal adivce on their rights. This program is held weekly at the Regional Justice Center at 200 Lewis Ave., Downtown, Las Vegas.
For homeowners who have more detailed questions about foreclosure related issues and who want to talk to an attorney and obtain legal advice about your case. Sign up at the Civil Law Self-Help Center at the Regional Justice Center at 200 Lewis Ave., Downtown, Las Vegas.
Small Claims Ask-A-Lawyer
This program is for unrepresented individuals seeking legal advice with a small claims matter. This program is held bi-weekly at the Regional Justice Center at 200 Lewis Ave., Downtown, Las Vegas.
Federal Court Ask-A-Lawyer
For unrepresented individuals with open cases in Federal Court or for those contemplating filing in Federal Court. This program is offered quarterly. The next event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Registration will be available after April 1, 2014 by visiting www.lacsn.org/federal. This program DOES NOT serve individuals seeking assistance with foreclosure, bankruptcy, family law, landlord/tenant or consumer matters in State Court.
