About this event

Sign up for a free 15-minute phone consultation with an attorney on private residential landlord/tenant issues in Clark County, Nevada. This is not for commercial landlord/tenant issues. This will not include drafting documents or reviewing documents. If you have questions about subsidized housing, please contact Nevada Legal Services. You will have 15 minutes to talk to an attorney and get advice based on what you tell them.

IMPORTANT: If you have an eviction notice that may expire before your consultation, go to the Civil Law Self-Help Center at the Regional Justice Center (200 Lewis Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89101) or the designated courthouse on your notice to file a Tenant Answer and protect your right to a hearing. Visit www.lacsn.org/evictionguide for details.

DISCLAIMER: Participation in this program does not establish an Attorney/Client relationship. The advocate or attorney you meet with is not offering or agreeing to represent you in any legal matter. Assistance is based only on a brief review of the facts disclosed. Additional facts or disclosures might result in different legal information being provided. Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada and its pro bono volunteers are not responsible for the outcome of your case, which is decided by a judge, based on the facts and the law. We recommend that you consult with a private attorney concerning the facts of your case prior to filing any documents. By registering for this Landlord/Tenant Ask-A-Lawyer program, you agree to this disclaimer.

In addition to this event, we offer a Tenants' Rights class and Eviction Sealing clinic, available to the community for free both online and in-person. To learn about other Ask-A-Lawyer consultations over the phone in the areas of family law, small claims, probate, debt collection, and more, visit www.lacsn.org/ask.

Organized by

Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada is a private, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that ensures equal access to justice through free legal advice and representation for those who cannot afford to hire an attorney.

We are the primary legal safety net that changes the lives of low-income, vulnerable people in our community every day. Since 1958, our organization has represented low-income individuals in Clark County with civil legal matters such as domestic violence, fraud against the elderly, representing youth in the child welfare system, and defending working people against scams and financial predators. We become the voice for those who cannot speak for themselves in important legal matters that affect their well-being, their future, and even their ability to survive. The cases accepted are based on merit and highest need—victims of domestic violence, children, the elderly, victims of financial predators, active military, and veterans.
