Landlord/ Tenant

If you have questions regarding landlord-tenant, eviction, or housing issues, visit the Civil Law Self-Help Center, which is a division of Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada. The Civil Law Self-Help Center has information, forms, and referral sources for both tenants and landlords.

The Civil Law Self-Help Center accepts walk-in customers only from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday (excluding court holidays) and is located on the first floor of the Regional Justice Center at 200 Lewis Avenue in Las Vegas. The Civil Law Self-Help Center also has a website where you can read more about landlord-tenant and eviction laws.  You can also access various forms online or by visiting in person.  Click here to visit the Civil Law Self-Help Center's Evictions & Housing page.

You may also get assistance through the Landlord/Tenant Ask-A-Lawyer program.  This program offers free consultations with a volunteer attorney to unrepresented tenants.  It is offered weekly at the Civil Law Self-Help Center for those looking for legal advice on their rights. Click here for more details including how to sign up for the Landlord-Tenant Ask-A-Lawyer program.
