While there is no law limiting the interest that can be charged to make a loan, there are laws protecting borrowers regarding other fees that can be charged, what can be charged after default, the right to a repayment plan after default and before being sued, and protecting borrowers from harassment. If you feel you are being taken advantage of, come in and bring all of your paperwork during our walk-in hours, Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

If you are being sued on a payday loan go to Civil Forms on the Civil Law Self-Help Center website and click on the needed form.
