Network and Support Specialist

Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada is a private, non-profit law firm dedicated to providing justice for those who need it most. We are seeking a full-time, permanent Network and Support Specialist to help manage our infrastructure and support our mission-driven team. The ideal candidate brings 3 to 5 years of hands-on network management experience and a proactive approach to technology. Core Responsibilities & Required Skills

  • Infrastructure Management: Assist the Systems Administrator with administering an on-premise Windows Active Directory network, on-premise Exchange servers (2013+) and several other Windows-based LOB application servers. Provide support and administration duties of an on-premise VOIP telephony system. Provide basic A/V assistance to staff for in-person, remote and hybrid presentations as needed.
  • Network Oversight: Assist the Systems Administrator with maintaining multi-site, interconnected networks, wired and wireless LAN environments and related components to operate the network infrastructure, with a specific focus of on-site solutions.
  • Cybersecurity: Maintain, improve, and uphold core security principles in accordance with industry best practices.
  • Technical Support: Provide high-quality Windows 10/11 desktop support for all end-users.
  • Asset Management: Assist the Systems Administrator with keeping accurate track of volume licensed products, software implementations, and other computer-related business assets.
  • Strategic Research: Assist with research of emerging IT issues and products to aid in planning and executing system improvements with the Systems Administrator.
  • Other duties as assigned: Working in other functional areas to cover absences or relief, to equalize peak work periods or otherwise to balance the workload.

Starting salary range is $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 depending on experience, with annual increases available. Our excellent benefits effective on date of hire include 100% employer-paid health insurance for an employee; spouse/legal domestic partner, and dependents up to 26 years old; a generous paid time off policy; flex work options after training is complete; a 403(b) match dollar-for-dollar up to 5% of an employee's salary after 12 months of employment; and 12 weeks paid parental leave after one year of employment.
