Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, a private, non-profit law firm, has an immediate opening for a full-time, permanent Legal Assistant for its Children's Attorneys Project (child abuse and neglect unit).
Qualified candidates must have experience with Nevada and federal court procedures, court e-filing, court calendaring, Microsoft Office, case management systems, and general office protocols. In addition, candidate must be highly organized, have excellent legal writing and communication skills, knowledge of law office documents, and advanced computer skills. A bilingual (English/Spanish) candidate is preferred but not required. Family law experience is a plus.

Salary & Benefits
Starting salary range is $41,000 to $54,000 depending on experience, with annual increases available. Our excellent benefits effective on date of hire include:
- 100% employer-paid health insurance for an employee, spouse/domestic partner, and dependents up to 26 years old,
- 403(b) match dollar-for-dollar up to 5% of an employee's salary after 12 months of employment,
- 12 weeks paid parental leave after 12 months of employment,
