The Family Justice Project provides a wide range of representation to victims of domestic violence. Our attorneys appear at hearings to enforce protective orders and assist with divorce and custody issues. We also represent victims of crime who have civil and family law problems that are a result of their victimization.

This position is for current Law School Students only. Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada’s Family Justice Project law clerks assist with general family law matters, such as divorce, guardianship and protection orders. The clerk will be responsible for reviewing client documents, research, and drafting pleadings.  There may be some opportunities to assist with outreach and intakes. The time commitment is a minimum of 15 hours per week under public interest grants if applicable, or at the pay rate of $18.00 per hour.  Please note that this is an in person position.
