Law Clerk - Consumer Rights Project - Bankruptcy

The Consumer Rights Project, Bankruptcy unit, is looking for a law clerk who has a passion for working hands-on with clients and gaining interviewing skills. The clerk will work with the lead attorney and legal advocate to analyze issues that arise from potential Chapter 7 cases. The clerk may perform legal research and memo writing tasks, participate in client interviews with potential clients, and present cases at the Consumer Rights Project’s weekly case review. Students who have taught a bankruptcy community education class or have taken a bankruptcy course are highly encouraged to apply. The time commitment is a minimum of 15 hours per week under public interest grants if applicable, or at the pay rate of $18.00 per hour. Please note that this is an in person position.
