We are very proud to announce that we have reached our 2009 Lied Challenge goal of $500,000 thanks to the incredible generosity of many in the community!  Donations from $20 to $125,000 helped us reach this milestone.

We are so grateful to the Lied Foundation for re-energizing our Capital Campaign and we look forward to conquering the next challenge, $500,000 by June 30, 2010.  As was true with the last challenge, the Lied Foundation will match those funds with an additional $500,000.   

Legal Aid Center is the only provider of free legal services in Clark County to low-income residents who are victims of child abuse, domestic violence and consumer fraud.  This past year, we have been overwhelmed with requests to help more abused kids, victims of domestic violence and families facing foreclosure and bankruptcy.  This money will enable us to serve thousands more of our most vulnerable residents.
